Sporting a gigantic raven costume and glowing eyes, Pelican Nebula castaway R4V3N made a name for himself with outlandish stage performances, though his antics never overshadowed his music. Taking a step back from his more intense compositions, he formed a backing band for the first time and dipped his toe into lo-fi beats with his fourth release Straight On 'Til Morning. The Stargazers were an impressive bunch on their own, featuring members of After Dinner Mint and one half of the Milky Way Duo. R4V3N’s energy still shines through, however, his enigmatic style successfully migrating his fans into a calm serenity.
