Four suns. To be fair, four collapsing suns. That’s how many black holes attempted to unsuccessfully swallow the members of Isolated Worlds. It wasn’t personal, but their home exoplanet escaped near-destruction with the help of ancient engines built into the black rock that IS-3312 is known for. Facing eviction four times in just 18 years took its toll on Isolated Worlds, but the traumatic experience led to a feverish recording session, producing the double-LP set known only as Spheres, presumably as an homage to the stars that deemed them expendable.
