Gloo Gun

Original Release Date: 08/22/2686

War is hell, my fellow Audionauts. And during times of great stress, music is often the escape that creatures of the universe seek. Gloo Gun found themselves making improvised explosive devices during the day and thrashing in underground clubs at night. Gloo, their home planet, was known for producing giant seed-bearing organs from the branches of conifer trees. These organs were the perfect nesting place for blasting gel, which, once detonated, would disburse the organ's barbed ends into the soft, mushy centers of their enemy: The Siskins. These winged nightmares had come from a distant cluster of galaxies which had excommunicated the species for their wasteful and carnivorous ways. Gloo was of no real importance in the grand scheme of things, but its people were the tasty morsels the Siskins needed to survive. For three decades, the Gloo and the Siskins grappled in a bloody war that saw even the eldest among them take up arms. The members of Gloo Gun, Elmer and Avery, were conscripted into a militia, against their will, but found solace in their love of music. Moral was in a constant state of flux and working in a factory that manufactured deadly munitions was enough to throw anyone into a state of depression. However, Elmer and Avery took to their keyboards and drums, channeling their hate for the Siskins into head-banging beats that inspired one of the greatest raids in universal history. Both pro- and anti-war in their politics, they stood for the citizens of Gloo above all else and there isn't a veteran today who doesn't remember the throbbing rhythms that brought the Siskins to the brink of extinction.
