On Planet Jupiter was the first of many live albums from Asteroid Belters Resurrect The Dead. An absolute monster of a record (its run time exceeded six hours), the hypnotic beats on this rare double set were even better than the respective albums they were culled from. At the time, the pioneering recording technology was far from completely understood, but we today know it as Stereo Ultra Radiophonic Fidelity-Interactive Reality Experience (SURF-IRE), and it paved the way for the production of inexpensive live albums, a delight to many fans who could not effort the exorbitant ticket prices.
