While Blobby Fisher and Squidword easily held their own as underwater-natives, to much success and fame, the oxygen-breathing Cid Daria drew a line in the sand, pushing the boundaries of what was possible underneath the calming ocean current. Plunging to 40,000 feet below sea level, the entirety of Medusozoa was recorded in near-freezing, pitch-black conditions; a literal deprivation chamber that unlocked the internal tuning of the already lauded Daria. Hiring four session musicians, including legendary drummer Cubo Zoa, Jr., this journey through the creation and evolution of thought, and of music itself, became the litmus test by which all collectors and theorists were graded on.
