Sensorama

Original Release Date: 09/18/3291

Sensorama was pure fun. Party animals, literally, they walked on all fours and could usually be found on their backs after a rousing live performance. Born from the Puke Party Movement of the early 3200s, the mosh-inspired elements, the head-banging bass drum, and the crunch survived, but the infusion of a brighter shade of melody was the final ingredient needed to take the sound from living rooms and basements to the literal heavens. Clad in fur, scales, and a leathery disposition, Sensorama dove head first into the rousing anthems of yesterday, selling out stadiums with ease and amassing a traveling entourage of dozens of space shuttles needed to carry their amplifiers to and from each gig. Nowhere are they more bombastic than on their debut album, Impossible Dream. With a cover borne from the inebriated bottle stains of a monster house party and beats on the inside to match, they threw humility into the void and declared, not that they were the best in the land, but, that fans would have the best of times in their company. Chasing Starlight, the biggest hit from the album would create such a shockwave that it became not only a party-starter but a party-RE-starter. When the sun came up, and the last drop had dried, it was time to reset and groove again to the party animals of the Ramadaian Galaxy. Sensorama is not for the faint of heart, dear Audionauts, but, if you have it in you to go one more round, they're certainly buying.
