Danger! Danger!

Original Release Date: 04/15/4766

Don’t go down there, they were told. Plutonian pals Danger! Danger! had played pretty hostile conditions before descending through the radioactive curtain that surrounded the exoplanet dubbed “Uncle Fester,” but this one would take the cake. While the concert went off without a hitch, what would eventually be categorized as an “escape,” became a legend unto itself. A Homeric tale of selling their gear, a maze of dark alleys, and an unhinged fan, inspired their second album Forbidden Planet, which would climb the charts and become Pluto’s fourth number one album of the millennium. Whether the story was true, loosely-based, or simply a work of fiction is of some debate, but the web weaved by the album and the various eyewitness statements say otherwise. Plutonians were more than happy to claim this as a win, however, Danger! Danger! had trouble replicating their success, their follow-up album featuring yet another unbelievable tale that featured bigger thrills and even longer beats. Fans soon lost faith in the format and the album, entitled Raiders of the Lost Quark, failed to chart.
